Go Wabbits Go!!
We got to wear red and white to school today to show our Wabbit pride.
Everyone looked so cute and had a blast at the first pep rally!
Had to get a snapshot of these Spiderman twinks, Paul and Julian.
Also today, we finished up our week of sense exploration by using our sense of smell. We played a game to see if we could close our eyes to eliminate the sense of sight and just use our nose to smell.
We had a lot of fun smelling some new scents!
Sawyer smelled coffee
Chloe smelled some yummy perfume
Sully had soap
Lynn smelled a sour lemon.
Finley had chocolate syrup.
Rhys got goldfish.
Here are all the smell cups. Some were pretty tricky to figure out only using smell, but once we could look at it we could identify the smell.
Now a look at our first week of apples in September.
We gave our fingers a great workout by making paper tear apples to hang from the ceiling in our room.
Must have seeds!
We also decorated the window with stained glass (tissue) apples.
Finally, we got to make yummy apple pies!
Each student made their own pie by pressing a biscuit into a muffin tin.
Then filling it with apple pie filling.
We waited for them to bake, and put a dollop of cool whip voila!
YUMM-O!
Sully wasn't so sure at first, but because we all have to at least try it, he ended up loving them!
We can't make such yummy treats and not share with our wonderful office friends!
Mrs. Suski and Mrs. Korte loved their apple pies.
Happy Apple September from my bushel of apples!
