We had a Math day in PreKA.
Today we began learning about patterns. A pattern is a set of pictures or objects that repeats itself. We learned that we can give different patterns different names using letters of the alphabet. All of the patterns we worked on today were named using only As and Bs.
Here is Lynn working on finishing an AAB pattern.
Sawyer completed a baseball AB pattern.
We then went to our desks and used 2 colors to color 6 apples.
3 one color
and 3 another.
We then created AB patterns with our apples.
Once we knew our pattern was a correct AB pattern, we glued them down to make...
pattern bracelets!
Also yesterday, my Stars were shining so bright from getting so many Boosterthon pledges that we had to wear our shades!
