100th Day

Well, it's taken 100 days, but I think it is time to share some fun we've had in PreKA!

On the 100th day the Stars came to school rocking some adorable shirts with 100 things on them. 

Here they are modeling their creations and showing off their picture made of 100.

David made a man and Adelyn made a boat.

Ronan made a "onehornasaurus" and Cooper made a go cart.

Harper turned her 100 into a butterfly and Nile made a car.

Bebe also made a cute man and Hudson made 2 friends holding hands.

Sweet Lucas missed out on the 100 picture creation, but I have to show off his adorable shirt!

Also, in the meantime we have started having a Star of the Week each week.

It was such a special treat to have a morning just with Mom!!

Thank you to all of these lovely ladies for all of the hard work and love you put in to the crazy job of Motherhood.  You are all our heroes, and you deserve the world.

Springtime Shenanigans

Where to begin to catch you all up on our wonderful Spring thus far!?

Here's a great place...our school playground mural!

If you haven't had a chance to stop by and see it in person, I highly recommend you doing so.

Our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Vogelgsang, worked so hard in collaboration with all of the students to make this magic happen.

Another fun event we got to attend was hearing the author and illustrator of "Good Night Little Rock" speak and teach us the process of writing a book.

The kids loved hearing everything they had to say, and some of them got to have their personal book signed!

As we continue to transition from the cold weather of winter to the warmer summer, we have made it to beautiful Spring!

We learned that this month is said to "Come in like a Lion and out like a Lamb".

Look at these cute lions and lambs we made using forks and cotton balls...

Last week we had fun learning all about the letter W!

We can now build the letter, write it, and figure out words that start with it!

As an end of week treat we got to enjoy Watermelon Popsicle.

Here are our W boys, Wyatt and Walker with their special treat.

While we enjoyed our special treat we also got to release our butterflies!
