First, they introduced themselves and told us what their individual jobs are.
Then Mrs. Baker was volunteered to model the gear.
This taught us what a fireman (woman) would look like if they came into our house in the event of a fire, so that we won't be scared of them.
Next, we learned what to do if we are inside a house when the fire alarm goes off. We pretended that we were sleeping, and a fire alarm went off...
So we crawled behind the fireman to a safe meeting spot.
Then we learned to Stop Drop and Roll if our clothes catch on fire. Good job Gus!
Then it was our turn to model the gear!
Finally, we got to tour the fire truck!
Thank you LRFD! Not only did you make our day, but we learned so much about fire safety!
Now I must give my weekly shout out to our wonderful Star of the Week Matthew!
Thank you for the delicious strawberry muffins!
