After learning about the Pilgrims and their long journey to America, it was time to learn about those that helped them survive in this new land...
The Native Americans!
First we learned what the landscape of America was back then.
There were no roads, buildings, grocery stores, etc., so the Native Americans had to hunt, grow, and gather everything.
Look at the American landscapes we made!

After we learned what the Native American lifestyle was, we made vests and headbands.
During the time of the First Thanksgiving the Native Americans made their clothing and homes from leather, so we made our outfits to look as they did back then.
Look at the great patterning we did on our headbands!
To decorate our vests we used Native American symbols.
This is how they told stories and communicated.
Howgh! to our Native American Princesses!
Howgh! to the chiefs!
