Germs!

Yesterday we had some wonderful visitors!  Some nursing students from UALR came and taught a wonderful lesson about germs.

First we heard a story about where germs come from, and how they spread.

 

Then they did a wonderful demonstration on the spreading of germs by using a tennis ball covered in stickers (germs).

 Each time the tennis ball was passed to a new person, they got stickers on their hands.

Once we were all covered in germs, it was time to wash!

We were taught the proper way to wash:

1. Wet hands

2. Get soap

3. Scrub scrub scrub, and sing Happy Birthday while you do it

4. Rinse

5. Dry

Now that our hands are clean, time to celebrate!
