Sequencing

Today we learned a new word...sequencing! We learned that there is an important order to almost everything, and if done out of order it won't work. We talked about the sequencing of stories, real life sequencing like the steps of baking, and the sequencing of events. We also learned the very important sequencing words, first, second, third, fourth, and so on.

We then went to our seats and worked together by table to put some cards on the correct order.

















Then this afternoon, after reading and charting our first gingerbread book, The Gingerbread Man, we did a sequencing worksheet. On the worksheet we had to glue character pictures on a page in the correct order in which the Gingerbread Man from them.








Everyone did a great job!!
