Jolly Old St. Nicholas

Today we learned about how our good friend Santa got his job! We began with the wonderful story of St. Nicholas, and his generosity to those less fortunate than he. We learned that the way people a around the world celebrate this saint is by placing their shoes outside with the hope that he will come and leave gifts in them.

We had to try it out ourselves, so we put one of our shoes outside...















Then took a nap while we waited for St. Nick to come.


Now, time to check...










He came, and filled our shoes with candy!!
