No better way to start the week than with some deep breathing.
We took a little special time first thing in the morning to slow down and restart our day after the craziness of morning routines.
Then before we learned about the special letter that starts our name we worked together to build a puzzle that puts letters in alphabetical order.
Then it was time to focus on our own
Special Letter...
One fun activity we did was to paint like a real artist using an easel, standing up and listening to classical music.
Check out some of our masterpieces.
Then we worked with playdough to create the lines used to make all letters: big line, little line, big curve, and little curve.
Once we had the right lines made we could create our Special Letter!
To end the week we got to make a special presentation to the class.
