It's time to learn about shapes!
This week our Math focus was on circles.
We know that circles are one big curved line, so they have no sides or corners.
Because it was raining outside, we got to go on a circle hunt in the classroom.
Look what we found:
(warning...the kids look like precious drowned rats because it began raining as soon as they got to the playground)
After our circle hunt, we learned the correct way to cut with scissors.
First we practiced.
Then we cut out some rainbow circles to make caterpillars!
