We are so lucky to attend such a wonderful school with the most amazing community, and this week we get to celebrate it!
It's Catholic Schools Week.
Each day this week we will celebrate someone else in our wonderful community. Monday we celebrated the most important part of our school...the students.
Everyone got pizza for lunch, we had a movie and popcorn instead of nap, we had extra outside playtime, AND we got free dress! WOW There was one silly catch...can you tell from the picture what's different?
While we're celebrating students, what better student to celebrate than our Star Student, Rhys!?
Thank you so much to Rhys for his super yummy star shaped Red Rice krispie treats!
Not only were they delicious, but we loved getting to enjoy them outside in this lovely January (what!?) weather.
Then yesterday we celebrated those that help us in our community by writing thank you notes to specific helpers.
First we wrote notes to Fr. Erik thanking him for all he does for our school.
Then our class got to write thank you notes to the Little Rock Police Department thanking them for keeping us safe.
We got a surprise visit from officer Michele Hill! She taught us all about her uniform, and all of her tools on the cool "superhero belt" she wears. Then we got to hand deliver our notes!
Mr. Rhys shared another delicious R snack with us today...
Ritz Bits and Raisins!
Thank you Rhys1
