Our theme this week is "Who are my friends?".
All week we will be doing many fun crafts, games and activities to help us not only learn how to write and recognize our own names, but o help us better learn our friends' names as well.
Let's start from the very beginning...our Special Letter!

I am so impressed that everyone knows their Special Letter, and the ones to follow!
What a smart bunch of Stars!
Then this afternoon we took turns making patterns by doting our names.
Not only was it fun, but we got to review the letters in our names and test out our patterning skills.
Tongue out...that's hard work!
Finally, as we talk about making new friends in our class, we learned to sort. We sorted our class by special letter, hair color, and outfit.
Look...we match!
