Big Green Monster

With the start of the spooky month of October comes fun festive crafts! This week we learned about the color green. Not only did we learn a fun song to help us read and spell the word, but this is the first color we've gone over that is made from mixing two other colors. I couldn't think of a better way to explore this new concept than to make Big Green Monsters! (If you haven't read the book...it's a fun one:)
First step...make the green face












Then add the two yellow eyes,








A long bluish greenish nose








The big red mouth




With sharp white teeth,












And purple squiggly hair!




Then say Go Away Big Green Monster, and don't come back!!!
(Until I say so:)




Ask your child about this fun book, and come check out our monsters in the "big school" by the library!
