Pumpkins

After a week long investigation, we know all there is to know about pumpkins!

We started with the outside by describing how it looks and how many lines it has. Then we measured it's height using linking cubes. 

Next, a test...do pumpkins float?!

Blocks do!

Toy oranges do!

Bowling pins do!

Wooden blocks...yep!

Spoons...not so much.

Dinosaurs, they do to!

Even counting bears float! But those were all ver small, so something as big and heavy should surely sink...right?!

No way Jose! Pumpkins float!!

Then it was time to move to the inside. What's in there anyway?

Once we had the pumpkin good and cleaned out, we voted on what face we should give him.

Then we made him into a spooky jack-o-lantern!

Wow look at all we learned during pumpkin week!!

Sweet Corinne was our Pumpkin Star!

She shared some adorable pictures of her and her cute family, and brought us deliciousness cupcakes.

Now she's toothless!

Boosterthon

We had another great week in PreK A that ended with a fun filled day of running! I was so impressed that every child ran all 35 laps, and they all had a blast while doing it.

PreK Pumpkin Patch

As Hallpween nears, at trip to the pumpkin patch is a must! Sadly we don't get to take field trips, so we brought the pumpkin patch to us!
