Tis the Season

The most special time of the year is upon us, and boy did we celebrate!

Yesterday the kids came in with huge grins on their faces because it was "pajama day"!
Little did they know it was really "Polar Express Day".

Everyone was given a ticket to board the train.
Then they handed them to the conductor to punch them, and "all aboard"!
Everyone got super cozy for a trip on the Polar Express.
At intermission we got refreshments of popcorn and hot cocoa.

That afternoon we got a very special visit from Santa himself!
Finally, to end our special day we filled a shoe box with goodies for a little boy in need.
We will be mailing this box overseas through "Operation Christmas Child" to a child just like us that doesn't have the things we have.
We watched a video that showed us where the shoe boxes go and the joy that they bring the boys and girls that receive them.

We said a special prayer over the gift, packed it up with a letter from us, and it's off!

Thank you all for your kind donations!
Then we had a blast today at our class Christmas celebration.
We made super cute ornaments, and had delicious snacks!

Well, we did it...we all survived our first semester at Holy Souls, and oh what fun we've had!
I hope all of my little reindeer have a wonderful holiday, and I will see you next year!
