We talked all about different types of scientists, and that they have to use different tools to learn more about their subject.
We learned a new big word...investigate, and we put it to good use!
One type of scientist we learned about studies the weather, and lets us know what is going to happen outside...a meteorologist.
After we talked all about what they do and some of the tools they use, we did a weather experiment of our own.
We made rain clouds!
Some of the cups had storms!
What a better season to talk about weather than Spring!?
We have been talking about how crazy the weather can be, so we talked about the saying
"Spring comes in like a lion and out like a lamb".
We finished up our Science week by watching the 4th grade set off their volcanoes,
and observing our caterpillars as they eat eat eat so they can grow grow grow!
