First happy 5th birthday Viv, and thank you so much for the best king/birthday cake I've ever had!
The kids came dressed and ready to celebrate Fat Tuesday!
We started our day with a Cajun dance party.
Then, pause the fun, we had to stop and learn something. First we discussed the sounds animals make and what different animals' babies are called. We then played a game with a deck of cards that has matching animals and their babies. Each child drew one card, and we spread around the room. Then the kids made the noise that the animal on their card makes, and walked around to find their match who was making the same sound.
K, back to the fun! Somehow we were lucky enough to get 2 babies in our room!!
Now, parade time!
Finally, a makeshift indoor carnival. I was so impressed with how well it went, and it really would not have been that way without my AMAZING parents! You guys make my job so very wonderful, so thank you thank you!
