Land, Water, or Air?

Today we continued on our animal unit, and we discussed how animals move. There's no way to discuss or understand this concept without well...moving! The class spread around the room, and then moved like the animal I called out. Then I would call FREEZE and stand like a human, and discuss what body part that animal used to move, and where they moved.

Kangaroo! Two/four feet, hopping, on land.



Snakes!






Horses!


Eagles!


Bears!


Then we had to sort animals by where they move/live...
