We finally finished learning all 26 letters in the alphabet, so it's time to start putting them together to make words. We have started with some CVC (consonant vowel consonant) words.
Then we moved on to our very first sight word THE.
It's official...we're reading!!
After working with reading some words we began dissecting words.
First we cut the word given to us apart.
Then we counted the letters in the word,
rewrote the word,
then picked an object that began with the same beginning sound.
