We Love Dr. Seuss!

You can't make it through March in Elementary School world without celebrating the beloved Dr. Seuss' Birthday! Although our time was limited this week due to some crazy weather, we were able to squeeze in some fun Seussical fun.

We had one very challenging math lesson this week from the book One Fish Two Fish Red Fish blue Fish. We learned to add! Oh yeah, Kindergarten stuff!

We used fishbowl worksheets and Goldfish to start out with some whole group problem solving.

Then it was time to come up with a problem of our very own by drawing different amounts of fish in each bowl then adding them together.

Smart kiddos!

Then we read and watched the classic Dr. Seuss tale of the Cat in the Hat, and used our fine motor skills to make some hats of our own.

Then I turned my students into adorable Cats in Hats!!

Finally, we ended the week with the always fun and yummy to some...Green Eggs and Ham!!

Everyone got some to try...

Some loved all of it, some are parts,

And some not so thrilled haha.

Time to vote...did you like Green Eggs and Ham?!

YES!!!
