Happy Valentines day to all!

We had a wonderful time celebrating and passing out Valentines on Monday.

Check out these adorable (and very creative) boxes.

 Each student brought cute Valentine cards and treats for their friends, and got to pass them out to each box for take home surprises.

Finally the students signed their Valentine cards to give to his/her Valentine of choice...will you be the chosen one?!

Mardi Gras Madness

If you were there you know that "madness" is the correct term.

Who doesn't go absolutely crazy for some beads and candy!?

Well our kids did a great job of feeding the frenzie during our Mardi Gras Parade yesterday.

Before the parade began we got to have a special snack all the way from NOLA...

a REAL king cake!

I expect to be invited to a big Mardi Gra bash next year at Jeb's house!

Then it was time to prepare for the parade...

Thank you to everyone who came and helped alleviate some of the stress of the parade for these littles.  Your help was NOT unnoticed or unappreciated.

Friends and Family Fun

What a special day it was Friday!

It is always fun having friends and family members visit our school.  The kids love giving tours and showing off their hard work in our classroom.

 To top it off, everyone gets to enjoy a delicious spaghetti lunch together!

100 Days Hooray!!

Yesterday we had a blast celebrating our 100th day in school!

Everyone went all out in making some great 100th day t shirts to wear, and they had fun showing them too the class.

Hattie used 100 flowers.

 Wyatt used 100 Band Aids.

 Look at Cate's 100 Pom Pons.

 Lily stamped 100 hearts on her shirt.

 100 Eyeballs for Drew and Luke!

JJ used a paint dotter to make 100 dots.

 Look, Jake made a picture out of 100 fingerprints.

 Nile used his special letter and wrote 100 Ns.

 We're loving every minute of the 100 days with Lulu too!

After presenting our wonderful shirts we made a list of our favorite things that we wish we could have 100 of.

Then it was time for a special snack.  We had 100th Day Snack Mix.

Each bag of snack mix had 10 gummies, 10 veggie straws, 10 animal crackers, 10 goldfish, 10 chex, 10 sprinkles, 10 jelly beans, 10 pieces of popcorn, 10 raisins, and 10 fruit loops...making 100 things to eat!

Finally, to end the day we got to use our imaginations.  Everyone got a 1 a 0 and a 0 to create a picture out of.  Here are the results:
